As team insider Arthur Staples reports, the New York Rangers have fallen apart recently and changes are expecting to come whether the players like it or not. In his recent piece in the Athletic, Staples begins to wonder if Jacob Trouba could be the one targeted next as the Rangers could choose to strip him of his captaincy mid-season.

Amid a three-game losing streak and sluggish start to the season, Rangers president and general manager Chris Drury recently told all 31 other teams that a plethora of the team’s longest-tenured players are available for trade, including the 30-year-old Trouba, who is currently the team’s captain, The Post’s Mollie Walker confirmed.
