NASCAR has confirmed that it will adopt a preventive measure to ensure a driver remains safe while celebrating in the Victory Lane. However, the sport will not stop drivers from celebrating in the manner that Connor Zilisch did, which led to his fall at Watkins Glen.

NASCAR Xfinity Series phenom Connor Zilisch suffered a broken collarbone after slipping and falling from his car during his celebration following the Mission 200 at The Glen on Aug. 9 at Watkins Glen International.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series points leader broke his collarbone after a hard fall in victory lane at Watkins Glen, according to the AP.
