The Mardi Gras party hasn't stopped as three parades that were rescheduled due to weather will roll Sunday. Elks Krewe of Orleans started at 9 a.m. at Tchoupitoulas Street at Napoleon Avenue and will end at the intersection of Toledano Street and South Claiborne.

Both were rescheduled — as were parades in Jefferson Parish — after a storm brought heavy wind and rain to the area.

NEW ORLEANS — Zulu and Rex will both roll early with no marching krewes, bands or truck floats in an effort to beat the high winds expected to hit the metro area on Fat Tuesday.
