The Las Vegas YouTuber accused of gunning down another YouTuber and his wife on the Las Vegas Strip is seeking more time to consider private counsel. Manuel Ruiz, 41, appeared before Judge Amy Chelini Thursday morning for a status check hearing.

This weekend was a mournful time for the dedicated fans of Finny Da Legend, an Arizona-based YouTuber and father, after a horrifying scene unfolded right on the Las Vegas strip. Sources say his alleged assailant had long-standing beef with him which led to the fatal incident.

Finny’s friend, Derek Ware, said Finny is more than a Youtuber. He was a son, a father, and a grandfather. “He’s a good father. He takes care of his kids,” Ware said. Ware described Finny as a big, friendly guy.
