Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday launch key development projects worth Rs 5,500 crore that aim to improve amenities for the 2025 Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and bolster the city's infrastructure.

Prime Minister Modi visited Prayagraj to review preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025, inaugurating multiple infrastructure projects to boost connectivity and spiritual tourism. His visit also highlighted environmental efforts for the Ganga and the launch of a chatbot for event updates during the major pilgrimage event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday termed the Maha Kumbh 2025 a "mahayagya of unity" which would take the country's cultural and spiritual identity to new heights. Addressing a public meeting in Prayagraj,

"The Maha Kumbh is a mahayagya of unity," the Prime Minister said. "It will take the country's cultural and spiritual identity to new heights."

Ahead of the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to review the preparation for the mega event and also launch a slew of development projects in Prayagraj on December 13.
