There will be no more bubbles blown for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham, who fired the Spanish coach on Wednesday and announced Graham Potter as his replacement. Potter has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and was unveiled as the club’s new manager at a press conference on Thursday.

Julen Lopetegui has been fired by West Ham after less than a year in the job and with the Premier League club in danger of being dragged into a relegation fight.

West Ham have sacked head coach Julen Lopetegui after less than eight months in charge. The Hammers are expected to announce former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter as the Spaniard’s replacement in the next 24 hours.

West Ham have relieved Julen Lopetegui of his duties as head coach after just seven months at the helm. Lopetegui, 58, took over the reins from David Moyes last May, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract at the London Stadium.
