Telangana's Mulugu district recorded a 5.3-magnitude earthquake. As a result of the earthquake at 7:25 AM, tremors were reported in Hyderabad and parts of Andhra Pradesh. The incident has caused panic among Telangana and Andhra Pradesh residents.

An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit Mulugu in Telangana on December 4 early morning, the National Center for Seismology said. The quake struck at 7.27 am. The tremors were reported at several places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including Hyderabad.

As per the NCS, the tremor was recorded at around 7:27 am on Wednesday and was centred around the Mulugu region at a depth of 40 km.
