A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for southeast Cook and Central Will counties in Illinois. The National Weather Service said Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that the thunderstorms moving through the area were dropping rain at rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour.

ST. LOUIS – Flash flooding has emerged around the St. Louis region after heavy rain Tuesday afternoon. FOX 2 has learned about flash flooding concerns around various streets in north and south St. Louis City. There are also some concerns near Downtown St. Louis and in the Metro East right across state lines.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect across parts of Chicagoland as more heavy rain could hit this afternoon and tonight.
