Seattle weather: Summer temperatures return for the holiday weekend
After several days of cooler and cloudier weather, Western Washington is finally turning the corner toward a more typical July pattern.
High pressure builds Sunday into Monday, increasing temperatures and bringing more sunshine. Highs Monday will be the warmest for the extended period with temperatures reaching the low to mid 80s. We see a weak system pass by Wednesday with slightly cooler temperatures and more clouds.
The cool upper level trough sitting over us will start to “peter out” by Friday and the onshore flow will decrease, bringing the temperature back to normal.
