Michael Vick adds former NFL star Tory Woodbury as his special teams coordinator, at Norfolk State as signing day approaches

Michael Vick has given a quick answer to questions about how seriously he’ll recruit Hampton Roads during his tenure as Norfolk State’s football coach, even as he looks to bring in national-caliber talent the way Deion Sanders did for Jackson State.

Woodbury has agreed to become Vick's special teams coordinator, sources with direct knowledge told FootballScoop. A record-setting quarterback during his collegiate career at Winston-Salem State, Woodbury has coached five seasons in the NFL -- as the Rams' assistant special teams coordinator -- and nearly a decade at the collegiate level.

Michael Vick and Norfolk State are already making inroads in the state of Virginia in recruiting, as linebacker I’ziah Emery is set to announce his recruitment to the Spartans this weekend per a report by the Virginian-Pilot.
