ROYAL OAK, MI- General Motors Co. will offer free remote start and other OnStar remote features to all customers who purchase a 2014 model year vehicle for five years, officials announced today.

General Motors has decided to make standard for five years the convenience of remote door-locking and remote engine starts through its OnStar RemoteLink Mobile App.
