Deshaun Watson agreed to restructure his contract with the Cleveland Browns, converting $44.7 million of his 2025 salary into a signing bonus, a league source told UPI on Thursday.

The Browns restructured Deshaun Watson's contract again, and in doing so, they reduced his astronomical 2025 cap charge of $73 million by $35.8 million.

The Cleveland Browns have been restrained to an extent over the past few seasons with the contract of QB Deshaun Watson. They’ll reportedly be freeing themselves up, though, when it comes to their cap space.
