Google is enhancing Android's Desktop Mode with a new "pin to taskbar" feature for easier access to your favorite apps.

Google has finally released the first preview of the desktop mode in Android 16 on Pixel phones, but it's mostly broken for now.

You can now easily pin apps to the taskbar in the latest Android Canary release. This will make Android's Desktop Mode even more useful.
