One deputy is dead and multiple are injured after an Indian River County shooting near Vero Beach after eviction notice was served at Bermuda Club on Orchid Island.

ST. LOUIS — A shooting inside St. Louis Lambert International Airport's Terminal 1 left one person dead early Friday morning. According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the shooting happened around 1 a.m. and involved Lambert Airport Police. The suspect was shot and later died. No additional injuries have been reported.

Fatal shooting at St. Louis airport involving an officer after a man with a knife was unresponsive to commands.

Austin police officer Daniel Sanchez had been accused of felony deadly conduct in the fatal, on-duty shooting of Rajan Moonesinghe in November 2022.

The suspect was covered in blood, police said, and told officers that he “did not care about going to jail for protecting himself.”
