Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz each scored twice in three-point performances to lead the host Dallas Stars to a 5-3 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.

It was obvious the Canucks — who traded Miller shortly before the puck dropped — were playing short-handed in their 5-3 loss to Dallas.

The Dallas Stars face the Vancouver Canucks Friday night for the first time this season. Entering Friday's match, the Stars are 32-17-1 while the Canucks are 23-17-10. The teams face each other two more times this season on March 9 (Vancouver) and April 8 (Dallas).
