As global concern over the crisis in Gaza intensifies, Steve Witkoff, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, visited an aid distribution site in the enclave.

Despite President Donald Trump’s repeated assertion in recent days that the United States has contributed $60 million for food to Gaza, U.S. pledges have been half of that amount, only a fraction of which has been actually disbursed.

Steve Witkoff went to the Palestinian enclave amid growing pressure on Israel to ease a deepening hunger crisis there. Hamas derided the visit as a “propaganda show.”
