Earl Holliman, known for roles in “The Twilight Zone” and “The Rainmaker,” died Monday. He was 96. The actor died in Studio City, California, on Nov. 25, per his obituary. His partner, Craig Curtis, announced the death to Variety.

A prolific screen and TV actor, Mr. Holliman appeared in Westerns, the 1956 sci-fi classic “Forbidden Planet” and on the 1970s series “Police Woman.”
