Consumers in the U.S. are scouring the internet for online deals as they look to make the most of the post-Thanksgiving shopping marathon on Cyber Monday.

Consumers came to play on the traditional kick-off to the winter holiday shopping season over the Thanksgiving weekend, making a record $10.8 billion in online purchases on Black Friday alone, up over 10% from the same day a year ago and more than doubling 2017′s spending volume, according to tracking by Adobe Analytics.

Consumers spent more than $13 billion online during Cyber Monday, according to Adobe Analytics data, surpassing expectations. The figure was over 7% higher than the prior year.
