Queen Camilla, who is recovering from pneumonia, posed for photos with the Amir of Qatar alongside King Charles on Tuesday, Dec. 3, before the royal family hosted a state banquet for the guests of honor.

As Buckingham Palace confirms Camilla was suffering from a form of pneumonia, the Waleses step up to kick off the state visit.

And this evening, King Charles said his State Visit to the UK “might be seen as a homecoming,” adding, “Your many visits since then have served as a testament to the close personal ties that bind our nations and our families.
