Now, Smith and the Seahawks are 7-5 through 13 weeks, placing them atop the NFC West standings. At this time of year, every game matters more than the last, so the Seahawks offense will have to continue producing positive performances to return to the playoffs.

Big plays have been signature feats recently, too. Per the Elias Sports Bureau, the last time the Seahawks had interceptions returned for touchdowns in consecutive games was Dec. 9 and 16 of 2012. Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas were the highlighted names then, and Coby Bryant and Williams are the featured defensive stars of the last two weeks.

It was a wild one for the New York Jets against the Seattle Seahawks. The Jets (3-9) started well enough but the Seahawks (7-5) worked their way back for a 26-21 win. The contest was much more than just that score line.
