Former Texas A&M Aggies QB Conner Weigman has been predicted to stay in the state of Texas and join the Houston Cougars out of the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Coming off of a brutal loss in the SEC Championship Game on Saturday, the Texas Longhorns have now lost a promising piece of their roster. Per reports from On3

Quarterback Jacob Zeno’s third college in his seventh year of eligibility is scheduled to be with the Texas A&M Aggies. The former San Antonio Jay High star has committed to the Aggies following three seasons at Baylor and then three seasons at Alabama-Birmingham.

After leaving the Longhorns football program, Johntay Cook II has entered the NCAA Transfer portal. The former five-star recruit left the program in November and will now be looking for a new home. He was the 31st-ranked player overall in his recruiting class.

Dropping its last three SEC matchups slid A&M to an 8-4 record, still good enough for the Aggies’ most wins in a season since 2021. They have a chance to add to the win column one more time when they take on USC in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 27.
