Wednesday co-creator Alfred Gough confirmed that Gaga’s guest appearance came about as a result of last season’s viral dance (with moves inspired by Siouxsie Sioux and Bob Fosse, among others), which TikTokers set to her deep cut track Bloody Mary and was credited with the show becoming a smash hit.

Gaga is expected to release a new song titled "Dead Dance" next month when the new season hits Netflix, Variety was the first to report. The outlet also reported that Andrew Watt and Cirkut - who worked with Gaga on her most recent album Mayhem - are behind the new song.
