THOMPSON, Pa. (AP) — Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers were shot Thursday morning, Gov. Josh Shapiro said at an event outside Philadelphia.

Gov. Josh Shapiro said he is heading to the scene after an unrelated Thursday press conference in Bucks County.

Two Pennsylvania police officers have been shot in the north east of the state, Governor Josh Shapiro said. The troopers were shot will responding to a call and both were transported to local hospitals, state police told the BBC.
