The Twins traded nearly half of their MLB roster at last week’s trade deadline, but if it weren’t for the Carlos Correa deal, pitcher Griffin Jax likely would have stayed put.

The Rays got Jax, who Neander called “as overpowering a reliever as you’re going to find,” from Minnesota in a one-for-one deal for Taj Bradley, the promising 24-year-old who last week pitched his way to Triple A. Jax is under team control through 2027.
