North Las Vegas officer, suspect killed in shootout identified; vigil set
Authorities have identified the North Las Vegas police officer killed in a shootout with a suspect Tuesday as officer Jason Roscow, 46. The Clark County coroner’s office said Wednesday that the suspect was Alexander Mathis, 25, who died of a gunshot wound to the head. Roscow died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the county.
