According to MLB.com's Brian McTaggart, the Astros traded for shortstop Carlos Correa in a deal with the Minnesota Twins. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported the Twins will pay $33 million of the remaining $103.42 million on Correa's contract.

The Astros were sniffing around the Dylan Cease market at the trade deadline, but there is one player they refused to give the Padres.
