G eneral Motors has officially set a new world record for the longest distance traveled by an electric vehicle on a single charge. A team of the company’s engineers piloted a production-model 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV for 1,059.2 miles, a result that surpasses the previous 749-mile record held by Lucid.
