Hundreds of tractors blocked streets in central London on Wednesday, the latest protest by farmers against the government after it ended an exemption from inheritance tax for agricultural families.

Farmers have snarled up a dual carriageway with their tractors as they protest about changes to inheritance tax. About 20 tractors have been staging a go-slow drive on A5 outside the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal in Northamptonshire.
