As part of nationwide protests against Trump administration policies, Texans hit the streets in at least sixty cities.
More than 60 rallies are planned across Texas in a nationwide protest targeting the Trump administration. An arrest was made near Austin related to a threat against state lawmakers who attended a protest at the Capitol.
Hundreds of protesters, chanting and holding signs on Nees and El Paso avenues, shut down part of a River Park bus stop.
Demonstrations are scheduled across California, including Visalia and surrounding cities, according to a map of events shared by NoKings.org.
The demonstrations come on the heels of protests flaring up around the country over federal immigration enforcement raids that began last week and Trump ordering National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles where protesters blocked a freeway and set cars on fire.
