The summer of soccer will take a new look this year with the FIFA Club World Cup, which comes to the U.S. for the first edition of the expanded competition that will see 32 teams from around the world compete for a share of the $1 billion prize purse.

Now we have at least three more games to play, and perhaps a few more if (when) we get to the knockout stages of FIFA’s newfangled Club World Cup. (That’s a “when” for manifesting, not a “when” for underestimating.

Chelsea are aiming to claim their second piece of silverware this year at the 2025 Club World Cup. Enzo Maresca's side are in the United States this summer for the newly-expanded Club World Cup, which sees 32 teams take part.
