Chase made news recently as it announced huge changes to its premium Sapphire credit card. Now, the bank has confirmed changes to who is eligible for welcome bonuses across its range of Sapphire consumer cards.
New Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business has a 200,000-point welcome bonus, tons of travel perks
The Sapphire Reserve for Business will also be adopting the new Points Boost accelerator, which will allow cardholders to redeem their Ultimate Rewards® points for up to 2X value on select airline tickets and hotels booked through Chase Travel. Otherwise, it's a fixed 1 cent per point.
Why I am keeping the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, even at $795 a year
One of the new perks of the Chase Sapphire Reserve is complimentary membership to DashPass, which would cost $120 annually otherwise (activation required by Dec. 31, 2027). DashPass includes $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on eligible DoorDash orders for a minimum of one year.
The revamped Sapphire Reserve now includes numerous annual credits, new rewards, a larger welcome offer and a higher fee.
Chase just raised the bar on business cards, bringing the prestige of the consumer Sapphire Reserve into the business world.
