Michigan State football redshirt junior cornerback Charles Brantley on Tuesday entered the transfer portal for the third time since April 2023.

This is the third trip to the portal for Brantley, who also tested the waters after the 2022 and 2023 seasons before ultimately opting to stay in East Lansing.

The Michigan State redshirt junior starting cornerback entered his name in the transfer portal on Tuesday. It’s his third time in the portal in the last two years. Brantley is coming off a resurgent 2024 season in which he posted team highs with three interceptions and seven pass break-ups to go with 27 tackles but it was once again cut short due to injury.

For the third time in his career, veteran Michigan State football cornerback Charles Brantley has entered the transfer portal. Brantley, a redshirt junior, had his best year at MSU this past season before suffering a season-ending injury. He earned an honorable mention on the All-Big Ten team for his strong play.
