Veteran wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim drew the curtains down on his ODI career after Bangladesh failed to qualify for the semi-final of the mega event in Pakistan and Dubai.

One of Bangladesh’s longest-serving cricketers, Mushfiqur Rahim, announced his retirement from ODI cricket on Wednesday after the disappointing exit of his team from Champions Trophy 2025. Mushfiqur Rahim announced his retirement in an Instagram post and said that he gave more than 100% for his country whenever he stepped onto the field.

Mushfiqur Rahim, Bangladesh's most experienced ODI player, has announced his retirement from the format. Mushfiqur made the announcement on his Facebook page, a week after Bangladesh returned home from a disappointing Champions Trophy campaign where they failed to win a game.
