The Big Boys have left the building. Until last week, the Frisch's mascot was a star attraction in "A Tale of Frisch's Big Boy," an exhibit in the Frisch's Mainliner location in Fairfax since 2018.

Two more local Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants are set to close. 2 NEWS is working to learn why both are shuttering. Locations in Huber Heights, Kettering and Englewood all closed in November. These are just the latest Frisch’s restaurants to shut down recently due to financial issues.

At least a dozen Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants in Kentucky, including both locations in Lexington, have been ordered to close. But it is unclear when that might happen; both Lexington restaurants remain open as of Dec. 4.
