Amazon quietly carved out two Washington, DC zip codes from being serviced by its fastest Prime delivery service with its own branded trucks, outsourcing deliveries to slower services like UPS and the Postal Service,

Washington, D.C.’s attorney general sued Amazon on Wednesday, accusing the company of covertly depriving residents in certain ZIP codes in the nation’s capital from access to Prime’s high-speed delivery.

D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb said on Wednesday that his office is suing Amazon for excluding Wards 7 and 8 from Prime delivery benefits despite residents in those areas paying for it.
